Westcoast Connection began with the goal of using exciting, memorable travel to enlighten and inspire teenagers and to enhance their understanding of themselves along the way. With a simple philosophy of "EACH & EVERY" we could never have guessed how many thousands of teens would come to share in our spirited and tightly knit groups where everybody is included in an enriching program.

The mission of Earthwatch is to engage people worldwide in scientific field research and education in order to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. Earthwatch offers a variety of family-together volunteer projects that make great hands-on learning experiences (includes several teen programs). Earthwatch's Teen Team Expeditions explore the world's most beautiful and endangered places. And these hands-on trips aren't only educational, but a way for teens to make a real difference and truly help the places they visit instead of just 'seeing' them as a passive bystander. The organization also offers all the tools, training, and experiences their volunteers need to make an impact.

The program gives American Students, entering grades 7th-12th, a chance to study Italian or Mandarin Chinese for 2, 3, or 4 weeks while living on campus alongside students from Italy, China, and around the world. The program is divided into classroom instruction, off-campus cultural activities, on-campus sports/arts/specialty instruction, evening enrichment activities, and weekend excursions. Past programs included students from Italy, China, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Hong Kong, England, Australian, Poland, Dominican Republic,South Korea, and Taiwan. The program begins Wednesday, July 18, 2012 and ends Wednesday, August 15, 21012.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. The Girl Scouts provide girls with the opportunity to discover their world, connect with and build an understanding for others and take action to make the world a better place.

The Boy Scouts of America combines educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. Westford is home to several Boy Scout Troops and is part of the West Wind District of the Yankee Clipper Council. Visit the web site to learn more and find a troop near you.

Scouting for boys younger than Boy Scout age. Designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade. A year-round, home-centered program used by chartered organizations, Cub Scouting emphasizes involvement between boys and their parents, adult leaders, and friends. Are you interested in Robotics? Computers? Computer Programming? Science? Engineering? If so, have we got a club for you!! The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) program is an excellent way for young people to experience the excitement of technical creativity and gain insights in the possibility of a a technical careers. In FIRST LEGO League 9- to 14-year-old youngsters learn to design and build autonomous robots using special LEGO kits. The program includes a 10- to 12-week period in which youngsters form teams, develop robots that can respond to individual tasks as part of an overall Challenge, then compete at one of the many tournaments we hold in Oregon and SW Washington. Through this process, youngsters experience the fun and excitement of solving problems in a positive and supportive team environment. Meetings take place first and third Friday of each month from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
