Recreational Activities
Provides several Senior Exercise programs every morning starting at 6am including: Arthritis, Cardio Workout, and Yoga. On Channel 9 Comcast, Channel 15 RCN, Channel 29 Verizon FIOS.

The Park and Recreation Commission and Department provides
year-round recreation opportunities and leisure services for
Needham residents of all ages. The goal is to provide opportunities
that are safe and fun, and promote healthy living.
Needham Public Library Services to the Homebound
Phone: 781-455-7559 x 203.
Books-by-Mail service is available to registered Needham Public
Library borrowers who are prevented from using the Library's
facilities due to medical disabilities. Library materials are sent
to the homebound via the U.S. Postal Service in sturdy canvas bags.
Books-by-Mail service may be requested by a recipient or by a
caregiver, by telephone or in writing. Call for more
information.

Meets on the second and forth Tuesdays of the month, 10:00 - 11:30
AM. at the Presbyterian Church; golf, bowling, finance and cribbage
groups. Monthly speaker presentations. Occasional trips and
tours.
An intergenerational service and social club whose members work together to improve and enrich the lives of the Needham Community through Philanthropic and outreach programs.

Stephen Palmer Senior Center

The Stephen Palmer Senior Center provides a place to socialize and
offers a variety of on-going recreational, health, educational and
informational programs and activities. There are many different
kinds of recreational activities at the Senior Center. Drop-in card
games and bridge, cribbage, mahjong and scrabble are popular.
Movies are shown on most Fridays and some Sundays. Day trips to
various places throughout New England are offered regularly. In
addition, there is ping pong, pool, bocci, horseshoes and shuffle
board as well as pool, bridge and golf tournaments sponsored by the
Park and Recreation Department.
