Groton Dunstable Youth Basketball League

The GDYBL Recreation League is focused in its effort to teach the basic skills of basketball through the values of teamwork, respect and having fun. Our goal is to create a positive environment in which self-esteem building is accomplished through the reinforcement of skills and creating a positive team atmosphere. Groton Dunstable Youth Football and Cheer is an organized youth
football and cheering program. The program teaches the basic skills
and concepts of both football and cheerleading while promoting and
encouraging academic excellence, sportsmanship, discipline,
responsibility, and respect. Groton Dunstable Youth Football and
Cheer is a member of the Central Mass Youth Football & Cheer
Conference, and a charter member of American Youth Football. For

We are an affiliation of Babe Ruth League, Inc. for players age
13-15 and include Cal Ripken League divisions for ages 5-12. The
Groton Youth Baseball League (GYBL) is a not-for-profit
organization which strives to provide a safe and healthy
environment for all to learn and to grow as individuals and
teammates in the game of baseball. The GYBL strives to provide an
equal opportunity to play at an appropriate level, without an undue
emphasis on winning, and endorses the values of: Sportsmanship,
Respect for the Individual, Enjoyment, Integrity, Pursuit of
Excellence, Loyalty, and Teamwork.Our players generally live in
Groton. Players participate in one of several divisions depending
on their age, experience and ability, including: T-ball, Coach
Pitch, Cal Ripken Minor, Cal Ripken Major Levels and Babe Ruth. Our
teams participate in tournaments played primarily in Massachusetts,
but also occasionally throughout New England and the US. Our teams
practice at fields in Groton, including Cow Pond, Town Field,
Cutler and occasionally Stonebridge.

Lawrence Academy is dedicated to providing children, adults, and
international students recreational and educational summer
programs. The 100-acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting
for over 30 camp offerings for children entering grades
K–12. Summer Programs offered: Traditional Day
Camp, Sports Camps, Specialty Day Camps, International Student
Programs.
Lawrence Academy Summer Immersion Program in English, Italian, and Mandarin

The program gives American Students, entering grades 7th-12th, a chance to study Italian or Mandarin Chinese for 2, 3, or 4 weeks while living on campus alongside students from Italy, China, and around the world. The program is divided into classroom instruction, off-campus cultural activities, on-campus sports/arts/specialty instruction, evening enrichment activities, and weekend excursions. Past programs included students from Italy, China, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Hong Kong, England, Australian, Poland, Dominican Republic,South Korea, and Taiwan. The program begins Wednesday, July 18, 2012 and ends Wednesday, August 15, 21012.
