The Chelmsford Open Space Stewardship is an independent group of volunteers working with the Chelmsford Conservation Commission. It was established in November 2005 by residents who enjoy hiking, being productive and doing things outdoors. While the Conservation Commission manages and protects open space property in the town of Chelmsford, the Stewards maintain and improve the trail systems within these open spaces – anything from picking up trash and keeping the trails free of fallen trees to replacing worn out bridges and kiosks. Stewards provide a daily presence and ongoing maintenance so these special properties can be enjoyed by all.
Chelmsford Police Athletic League

opportunities for girls and boys to participate in team and
individual sports or activities in a safe, well-supervised
environment. CPAL's objectives are to promote the ideals of good
sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, equality, and healthy. The
priorities provide an opportunity for all youths to play and/or

strive to develop confidence and self esteem, maintain a strong
non-competitive program for all beginning and less skilled
participants, provide situations where players are competing within
an appropriate skill level, and foster a trusting and lasting
relationship between participants and Chelmsford Police Officers.

of race, sex, color, ethnic background, religion, creed, or wealth,
an opportunity to participate in any and all programs we run.

and is a recognized Chapter Member of the National Police
Athletic/Activities League, Inc. CPAL is organized and operated on

programs for participants in 42 states and several countries around
the world. Consisting of approximately 400,000 young people ranging
from ages 5 to 16 years old, PWLS is the largest youth football,
cheer and dance program in the United States.
Pop Warner was founded in 1929, continues to grow and serves as the
only youth football, cheerleading & dance organization that

community.

athletics and scholastics go hand in hand. At every level, Pop
Warner programs seek to develop well-rounded young men and women
who learn not only the fundamentals of football, cheerleading, and
dance but also the importance of education in an atmosphere
conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.
Chelmsford Youth Basketball League
Email:
Chelmsford Youth Basketball League (CYBL) is a non-profit, all-volunteer youth basketball league formed to teach basketball, good effort and good sportsmanship. It is for 2nd through 12th grade boys and girls living in Chelmsford, MA (USA) and/or attending the Chelmsford school system.

Mission
Our mission is to teach, grow and honor the game of lacrosse
throughout Massachusetts by providing leadership, guidance,
training and structure to all town programs interested in
participating in the MBYLL’s eight game spring
schedule and the annual MBYLL Jamboree held each June at the end of
our season.
Philosophy
Our philosophy is all players participate equally (i.e. equal
playing time) in all games and play on evenly balanced teams based
on player skill, experience, size and grade at every age
level—U15, U13, U11 &
U9—in all MBYLL games.
There are NO ‘stacked’ teams
& NO ‘A’ &
‘B’ teams at any level in
any town program playing in the MBYLL. NO standings are kept and NO
playoffs or league championships are held in the MBYLL. Our coaches
are teachers & role models.
The MBYLL is an inclusive organization that provides a safe,
enjoyable, learning experience for all participants; and in an
environment not swept up in the pressure filled, win-at-all-cost
mania all too common in today's youth sports.
Goal
Our goal is for all players, coaches, teams & programs reflect
role-model sportsmanship on & off the field while we learn,
share and teach the fundamental skills & teamwork required to
play the game well.
The MBYLL provides training, guidance, certification and
age-specific rules of play for all participating coaches &
officials with a particular focus on ensuring player safety &
that our games deliver a positive, fun-filled experience for all
involved.
Honor the Game
We honor the game by practicing positive coaching, teaching life
lessons beyond the playing field and developing a strong community
among players, parents, coaches, officials and fans that will last
a lifetime.
As MBYLL town members, we continue to improve our lacrosse
knowledge & program capabilities each season as we learn, share
and teach the game based on speed, stick skills, athleticism and
teamwork--and not physical intimidation.
Chelmsford Youth Wrestling
www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=chelmsfordyouthwrestling
Chelmsford Youth Wrestling is an all-volunteer organization. We are much smaller than most of the other sporting programs in town but we are probably the most active. To keep the program healthy and financially stable, we organize several fund raising events each season. The largest of these is our annual Chelmsford Youth Wrestling Tournament that we run at the High School Gym. This has historically been our largest and most successful event. We typically host approximately 500 to 600 youth wrestlers from all over New England for this one-day event! As you might imagine, the logistics involved in managing the flow of that many wrestlers and their families through the Chelmsford High Gym in one day is a daunting task. There is no way we could run this tournament without the enthusiastic support we get from our participant families. We encourage all our wrestling families to help out however they can in this vital fund raising event. We also welcome your active participation in all other aspects of the CYW organization. There are many opportunities to help out and get involved during the course of the season. We appreciate your input and look forward to your involvement in making this a better program for all the kids!

We are a Community Theater Troupe based in Boston's MetroWest. The
Present Players is dedicated to providing quality theater to our
community, and we always donate 100% of our proceeds to local
causes. We are able to produce 1-2 shows a year, and we donate 100%
of our shows' proceeds to community programs. If you are located in
Boston's Metro West and have a need for fundraising, consider
community theater. If you have an interest in any aspect of
Community Theater, we'd love to have you join us. A good production
needs Costumes, Lighting, Sets, and Props not to mention Publicity
and help with Tickets. We understand that everyone involved in the
company makes the show successful, not just the actors. Come see
how rewarding it is be involved with live theater.
The Nashoba Players is a dynamic, non-profit community theatre that
has been dedicated to providing cultural enrichment through live
theatre in drama, musicals and comedy to Westford and surrounding
communities. We began 30 years ago as Groton Theatre and Littleton
Theatre Guild and evolved into Nashoba Players. We are a member of
the Eastern Mass. Assoc. of Community Theatres and are recipients
of repeated recognitions at the EMACT Festivals for outstanding
achievements in our productions. Our commitment to providing
entertainment to the community has reached beyond traditional
theatre. We have offered Summer Theatre Workshops to the youth in
the community culminating in a musical show performed by the teens.
Our home stage is at the Parish Center for the Arts on the common
in Westford. It is an intimate and inviting venue where we offer
cabaret seating for our shows. Our season offers three or more
performances which include drama, comedy, musicals, and sometimes a
whimsical tongue-in-cheek melodrama or an elegant dinner theatre
experience.
